Vardenis is a town in the eastern part of Armenia. it is situated 5 kms from Lake Sevan.
Hitchhiking out
West towards Yerevan: Walk to the main roundabout in the city center, from where the marshrutka's depart. Walk on the road to the west until you've left the town, and start thumbing!
East towards Nagorno-Karabakh: from the same roundabout, walk the first metres north, then continue east. After a while you should see a cemetery to your left and later a stadium to your right. Walk a little bit further until you're really out of town.
