Vama Veche is a small village in southeastern Romania, located on the Black Sea very close to the border with Bulgaria (you can cross into Bulgaria at the Durankulak-Vama Veche border crossing). In summer, Vama Veche’s beach attracts many people looking for a less commercial atmosphere than the other Black Sea resorts. It has served as a destination for the Tramprennen in 2010.
