Parnaíba is a city in the State of Piauí in the North of Brazil.
Hitchhiking out
East towards Jericoacoara, Fortaleza
At Praça Santo Antonio and throughout the whole city you will find several buses going to Terminal Rodoviário de Parnaíba (02°55′41.71″S 41°45′11.63″W). As soon as you got off the bus you only need to take a left in the roundabout ahead of you and stick out your thumb on the side of the road. Good luck!
West towards Barreirinhas (Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses), São Luis; South towards Teresina
At Praça Santo Antonio you will find several buses going to a road junction known as Delta (02°56′18.96″S 41°45′19.07″W). As soon as you got off the bus you only need to cross the roundabout ahead of you and stick out your thumb on the side of the road. Good luck!
