Southwest towards Kresttsy, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow via 49K-6
Option 1 - Oktyabrskaya Street / Magistralnaya Street
From the city center, take Oktyabrskaya Street; from the train station, take Magistralnaya Street. Continue a bit along the highway past the railway crossing of the Okulovka-Nebolchi branch. There is good car flow here—most go towards Veliky Novgorod and Saint Petersburg, there are fewer cars towards Moscow, but it is not a problem as a better spot is not far.
East towards Borovichi via 49K-6
Option 1 - Revolyutsii Street
From the city center, exit along Revolyutsii Street. You'll reach the highway almost at the very end of the city. From the station, go first along Magistralnaya Street, then turn right.
North towards Kulotino and Lyubytino
Option 1 - Oktyabrskaya, Kalinina, and Sotsialisticheskaya Streets
Leave the city via Oktyabrskaya, Kalinina, and Sotsialisticheskaya Streets. There is also a bus to Kulotino. The junction is just outside the city: straight ahead is Kulotino and Toporok, left towards Borovenka, Lyubytino, and Malaya Vishera. There is normal traffic up to Borovenka; beyond that, it gets quieter.
