Marly is a municipality in Switzerland, close to the city of Freiburg im Üchtland (French: Fribourg)

Hitchhiking out

South towards the mountains

From Marly you can easily hitchhike south, to the mountains Schwarzsee/Plaffeien/Giffers. Just walk a couple of meters from the roundabout (see sign Schwarzsee) and stand there, just before the drive-in of the garage of the Migros. There is much space and cars can easily stop there for picking you up. Some anonymous hitchhiker has done this many times when he missed the bus.
