Hitchhiking out
Southeast towards Nevşehir, Kayseri, Malatya
From the city center, you need to get to Kayseri Road. Walk approximately 750 meters from the center to reach the Ankara-Kayseri Road, and you can start hitchhiking from the last traffic lights at the exit of Kırşehir. The junction towards Hacibektaş-Nevşehir separates about 5 km after Mucur.
Northwest towards Kırıkkale, Ankara, Kaman
To head towards Kaman, Akpınar, Kırıkkale, or Ankara, get on the Ankara road. After passing the Ankara Street intersection on the Kırşehir-Ankara Road, walk 500 meters and begin hitchhiking at the wide area in front of the new building of the provincial administration. Alternatively, you can use minibuses to Özbağ, and start hitchhiking from their last stop. For Kaman, you need to branch off the road around the 25th kilometer of the Ankara Road.
South towards Aksaray, Konya
To travel towards Ortaköy, Aksaray, or Konya, you need to get on the Aksaray Road. You can take minibuses going to Güneyce neighbourhood or Güldiken and begin hitchhiking from the furthest point the minibuses go. Also, if you arrive via the Ankara-Kayseri Road, you can start hitchhiking from the junction to Aksaray Road just after the Kılıçözü Industry Area.
North towards Yozgat
For Akçakent, Çiçekdağı, Yerköy, or Yozgat, follow the northwest route instructions, and continue hitchhiking from the Yerköy junction at the 15th kilometer of the Ankara Road, located in the Çayağzı area.
