Gozo is an island part of Malta. It is more rural and hitchhiking here is the easiest of all the islands. A ferry from Mgarr on the main island will take you there and back for about €12. Freecamping spots are easy to find. People often stop their car for you while you're just walking to offer you a ride, as experienced by MOAH .
