Famagusta (greek: Ammochostos or turkish: Gazimağusa) is a city in Cyprus.
Hitchhiking out
West towards Nicosia
There is a roundabout where the highway to Nicosia and Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard intersect. Shortly thereafter, there is a bus stop with plenty of space for cars to pull over. It's a twenty to thirty minutes walk from the Old Town.
North to Iskele and Dipkarpaz
Leave the City on Ismet Inönü Boulevard. After the hospital you'll find a roundabout where you can stand with a sign. As this is already 6km from the city center, you can try you luck anywhere else on the very same road.
