Bjerkvik is a city in Norway. Not much here, but handy stop between lifts going to Harstad/Evenes airport, the Lofoten islands, Tromso and Narvik.
Hitchhiking out
Main suggestion is go to the Esso petrol station on the E6/E10 next to Xtra (there are two Esso stations) which has seats and hot food like hamburgers. Many people stop there, especially coming from the airport, for a meal. So you can sit and rest in between approaching drivers, stay warm and dry the whole time and replenish yourself.
